College Ect

Yesterday I ran all over town getting myself ready for college. I got my FASFA filled out and I should be getting those results soon but my adviser told me that we probably won't be getting the PELL Grant because the government will think we make too much money. Great.

So then I ran all over the Navy Base to talk to people about financial aid for spouses. I got slapped with a book and sent home. Great.

Today was spent researching possible scholarships. Most of them were essays, a few are photos or photo essays and a few are video essays. Those will be fun. A few are due by Dec 1 so I need to get cracking on that.

Friday I officially apply and take my placement tests since it's been years since I took my SAT's. Tomorrow will be spent brushing up on my math skills.

Friday night I will be attending a recipe swap so I'm looking forward to that. I love to cook and I love talking recipes with someone that actually listens! Heh heh. Saturday night is a Boat Parade where people decorate their boats in Christmas lights and etc.. It sounds cheesy but it's FREE, so I'm going to try to con.. er convince Dan to go with me.

I have a feeling this will be the last breath I have before the New Year. We're going to be busy busy busy.
