Myspace Vs Facebook

recently switched my myspace profile to public so everyone in the free world could look at it but now I'm getting those dumb requests from bands and ect.. and spam messages out the wazoo. I went back to a private profile page that only my friends can see. This way I won't get my hopes all up when I see I have new messages that are just advertisements for the new local Chinese restaurant.

I read many feeds in google reader, which is a feed subscription manager. So instead of going to the websites to read new content, it is automatically delivered to me. My blogger account can do this too, along with having the blog emailed to you.

One of the feeds I read is about social networking sites (I know I'm a total nerd) and they were talking about how myspace is not as cool and upcoming as facebook. For me, I check my facebook about once a week just to clear the invitations to do silly quizzes and ect..Myspace is my internet playground. It facilitates communication whereas facebook doesn't. What about you? Which do you prefer?
