Anthropology class

This was the class I was most looking forward to. I've always had an interest in it and so I took it as my "fun" class.

So far my hopes are looking dim. The teacher is really into anthropology but he's not good at giving lectures or talking in general. He has a speaking tick where he says "alright" after a lot of things and then he starts over.

At the end of class a student behind me told me he counted the teacher saying "alright" about 262 times.

I'm really hoping the class gets better. I took a few notes in class today but other than that I wanted to stab my eyes out. If it doesn't get any better on Thursday then I will see what I can do about switching my class. I want my class to be closer to my english class anyhow. We shall see.

I had a professor that said "ya know" after every sentence. Sometimes it was more like, "Ya know. Right, ya know. Ya know." Those classes were kinda painful. You should bring a laptop and see if there's wifi in that classroom. That's how I got through it. Just pretend you're taking notes really intensely. *lol* Hang in there, and don't get discouraged about the entire subject because this teacher sucks.

I found gold while I was sorting the mail at work the other day: Archeology Magazine, with no name on it. Mine now. :-) Between that and the Pottery Barn catalogs that come in unclaimed, my job is awesome.
