my car broke

Well today (sunday) I drove up to Columbia for the day for a rubber stamp thing and my car died while I was just a few miles away from my destination. Go figure.

So it's at Pep Boy's now. They are going to work on it in the morning. They think it's my timing belt so that's fun.

Dan came and picked up me up and I am finally home now sans rubber stamps :/

I'm trying hard to not feel sorry for myself. I was pretty lucky that my car didn't catch on fire or that it wasn't raining or that traffic wasn't too bad so I could pull over safely.

Hopefully it'll be ready by tuesday since that's the day Dan has off and I don't have class until the afternoon.

I already called my job and called out of work but I guess I can go to work now. I originally thought I would have to stay the night in Columbia but then we decided that Dan would pick me up. I have two tests this week so I don't want to miss any class time.

I guess I'll be borrowing Dan's car and he'll catch a ride to work with a friend. It's time to brush up on my stick shift skills! Try saying that ten times fast! :P
