Nerd-ing it up

Today I am sporting the wrist guard. oh yeah! Last night I spent too much times surfing the net on the laptop and my whole arm hurts now. D'oh. Our laptop is ancient and broke-ass and the wireless card slot is broken so that means it only uses the built in wireless from like 5 years ago which means it is slow compared to wireless speeds now. But I can surf while I am on the couch so it's a double edge sword. But now I am geeking it up with the wrist guard.

Speaking of geeks, my classes are going pretty well. I have two tests this week and I have to take them early since I am going out of town this weekend. I feel crazy unprepared. It's probably just test anxiety since I've been keeping up with my notes and homework but I don't know the material off the top of my head so I'm anxious. I spent 4 hours in the library studying and doing homework. We shall see.

I will probably start work next week which will be nice since I've been incurring extra expenses for extra gas and food. I didn't get gas until I had 346 miles on my tank. Hah! I told Dan and I think he nearly flipped his lid. I kept forgetting to get gas and it just built up quickly. Luckily I don't have an SUV otherwise I would've been walking to the nearest gas station.

In other news, it's been farking freezing at night! I love the word "farking" lately. I love when it's cold since I am hot all the time but when I need to turn on the heat at night, then it's a wee bit chilly outside. Dan sure is thankful though, he can finally unshed his 3 layers of coats and blankets. Hahaha. How did I marry a northerner who is perpetually cold? How did he marry a Floridian that is perpetually hot? We sure do make an odd couple but I sure do love him.
