Girl Scout Cookies

Whenever Dan's coworkers have a catalog of goodies from their kids, Dan can't resist and say no. Either that or he loves buying stuff from catalogs.

A couple weeks ago he came home with Caramel Popcorn (one of my arch weakness-ness) and un-popped boyscout popcorn. Surprisingly enough, we still have both of them.

Yesterday, Dan comes home and tells me that his girl scout cookies came in! I listen anxiously to see if he bought the kind from last year that I scarfed up instantly. To my dismay he told me that he bought peanut squares, peanut cookies and salsa flavored nuts. Yuck! I was disappointed but also relieved. My waistline doesn't need any delicious cookies but I was still bummed that he didn't know me well enough to buy something I would want even though I will complain that we don't need it while stuffing it in my face! Hahah.

I come home from errands today and investigate the goodies on the table and he neglected to mention he bought CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZELS!

*swoon* He really is my soul mate.

The rejection I was feeling about being ditched last night by a friend is drowned away in a delectable river of sweet and salty love! Mmmhmm.
