Onto the Good News Now

This is where I should say "I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance". But that's not funny considering my circumstances. Heh heh. Luckily we just renewed our insurance so it won't be until November that we have to deal with that.

A couple of months ago I made a vague reference to something that I was crossing my fingers about. I kept it vague on purpose because I didn't want to jinx it and get my hopes all up. Well no more waiting!

I interviewed a girl a few months back that is in the same club as I am, Roots and Shoots. It's like a humanitarian/environmental group. I did a write up and submitted to the editor of the school newspaper and this month it was published! My story is front page! My name is on the front page!

I'm super excited. I feel like this is a step in the right direction for me.
